The Cleansing Services Company MTS has purchased the property unit 7, Wyvern Way on the Henwood Industrial Estate in Ashford for £1.2 million; MTS has decided to move to larger premises to reflect their growing business and have chosen a site that complies with their requirements including excellent access to the M20 and Ashford town centre.

MTS, who focus on delivering the ‘highest standards of quality, safety and environmental care in providing a comprehensive range of waste management services’, also choose to give back to their community and donate their time, money and expertise to local projects and Medway Schools.

Unit 7 is a stand-alone 27,000 sqft industrial warehouse unit of steel portal frame construction with two steel roller shutter doors opening onto to a secure concrete yard and loading area. The unit resides on a large site of 1.28 acres and can accommodate over 40 car parking spaces. The property has planning for both B1 light industrial and B8 warehouse uses.

Core Commercial, the Pro-Active Industrial and Warehouse Agents, introduced MTS to the vendors; they were working in conjunction with joint agents Taylor Riley and Rumsey & Partners. The managing director of Core Commercial, David Marriott, commented that this sale was ‘a clear indication of the property market improving’ commenting that this sale exemplifies how, post-recession, businesses are now ‘recovering back to normality’.

Overall, this is a great acquisition for MTS and enforces a promising outlook for businesses in 2014 by giving an increased capacity for expansion.

Core Commercial, now in its eighteenth year of business, is also quietly seeking to expand by recruiting additional members of staff based at their Paddock wood offices.
